An 80’s to 90’s themed diner located at Burjuman Center, Dubai.
You know after bingeing on an American TV show you often wonder what’s it like to eat at a diner and have that all American experience. Well stop right there and head to Big Daddy’s!
Ratings: 7 Golden Nuggets
This place definitely takes you back to the 80’s with their groovy interiors, gum ball machines (yes, GUM BALL MACHINES), mini arcade and their wacky menu filled with 80’s to 90’s pop culture references. To say the least we enjoyed our time at Big Daddy’s and definitely recommend it as a place worth checking out.
The only thing we’d like to change is the music. It would have been perfect if they had stuck to their theme and played popular hits of that time rather that the latest songs of today.
Golden Treasure: Whopper Malted
1. Whopper Malted: A milkshake with whoppers that was simply delish. They say looks isn’t everything which is so true as this one looks like a simple shake but it was oh so appetizing! Topped with maltesers and whipped cream this one is a must try for those with a sweet tooth. It was perfectly blended and presented so elegantly (yes, we noticed the straw cover swirl).
2.Give Me S’more Waffles…Please: Graham cracker waffles stuffed with toasted marshmallows and chocolate sauce. This dish let us down because the waffle was very soft unlike the usual crunchy ones and we couldn’t find any sign of graham crackers. If you like your waffles soft, you will enjoy it.
A shout out to the servers who did a great job serving us and being so patient while we decided what to eat because their menu is so freaking cool we definitely did take our time!
The food here is reasonably priced thus making it perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner and also for those sneaky snack breaks which we won’t tell anyone about. It is pocket friendly so do add this place to your maps and check out the assorted delicacies served.
