Pita Pit

Fitness and Food wrapped in a pita!

Journey:
We decided to head for something different from our usual options on a Thursday night.

Ambiance:
It is a small joint located at Bay Square with a casual vibe. A perfect place to grab N go as well as just enjoy your meal in peace.

Drinks: We tried the coconut water and fruit juices along with our meals which were refreshing.

Salad & Pita

Souvlaki [AED 38]: This was recommended to us as the best one on the menu and he sure was right! We chose a salad bowl option in which the quantity served to us was quite filling. All fresh ingredients with grilled chicken breast and mushrooms, toppings and sauces as you please. It is a healthy food option in your own style.

PP_Falafel

Falafel Pita [AED 28]: Having a falafel filled with goodness of sweet peppers, onion, tomatoes, mushrooms with our choice of sauces is a fabulous healthy option to switch up with your regular meals. We tried the Tzatziki sauce which was yoghurt with mint mixed that’s creamy in texture and a bit sour to taste. You could also opt the same kind of choices in a salad as well.

PP_Spicy Steak

Spicy Steak [AED 32]: We went for the brown bread, smeared it with hummus added some grilled mushrooms, bell peppers, jalapeΓ±os to bring up the spice factor, some olives with a bunch of more sauces to make it a hot dish as we like it. Definitely worth giving it a shot and tasted amazing.

Service:
Our server was friendly and made sure we had a great time.

Cash Outflow:
The price is reasonable for the quality being offered. If the usual prices do not fit your budget, they have a PITA Hour where you can get a meal for AED 25 only, so that should do the trick.

Circling Back:
We shall come back soon for more of the souvlaki and try other options.
