Fun Family Pizza
We planned to check out the place on a weekend along with few blogger friends.
It looks like a small outlet from the outside, but when you enter, you come across with a spacious restaurant. You have the option of being seated in a booth or regular tables or you could choose to sit upstairs and enjoy the live cooking.
The place is buzzing with hustle and bustle from servers going around serving numerous people with orders and customers having a good time catching up with friends and family. For a newly opened place, it has caught up all the attention and doing really well.
Rating: 7.5 Golden Nuggets
Blue Lemon Slush: With a vibrant blue color and a lemon for garnish this is a total eye pleaser and a nice drink to complement your meal if you are a fan of slush drinks.
Lemon Cucumber Cooler: We found this one to be a bit bland, as none of the flavors stood out. It seemed like infused water with no taste.
Coffee Chip Shake : All those coffee addicts out there, this is the perfect drink with the right balance of coffee and chocolate blended in a shake. One of our favorites we might say!
Garlic Parmesan Fries [AED 12]: Oh that generous cheese spread all over the fries until the last piece. The garlic enhanced the taste and was not too overpowering either. These crisp babies were disappeared in no time. A thumbs up for the presentation and portion size.

Smile 😁 and say #cheese 🧀 because the #weekend 🙆🏻♀️🤩💖 has come! The #MozzarellaSticks [AED 22] @shakeysuae were crisp and yum that we 👭 had a fight for the last bite with @thegreatmb16 😋! Only thing that was missing was the consistency with cheese filling. Thank you ☺️❤️@theclassylotuslifestyle for introducing us to an amazing place 😊.
Mozzarella Sticks [AED 22 – 8 pieces]: Who says no to cheese surely, not us! So we had to try and find who got the biggest cheese pull…. But sadly we couldn’t compete in that matter because the cheese fillings were a hit and miss with some of the sticks being hollow. So a little work on the consistency and this would be a winner amongst them all.
Mojos: The Indians call them pakoras, crisp and round these batter fried potatoes were a delicacy that made us drool. They come along with dips of ranch, ketchup and mayo.
Wings N Rings Platter: A platter with buffalo ranch sauce wings, calamari rings and a side of french fries.
We are not huge fans of the buffalo sauce which is why we didn’t like the wings, so no problem with the wings, it’s not you it’s us kinda situation here.
The calamari rings were crisp and delicious, add to that the sweet chilli sauce made for a great combination.
Half N Half Pizza: Texas BBQ Chicken Pizza and Shakers Special.
We were not as impressed with the pizzas, albeit they tasted good but something to be wowed about. We felt that the crust was quite thin from the regular thin crust pizzas. Another reason was the pizzas were served slightly cold which could have affected the taste.
Banana Split: The dessert tasted nice with three generous scoops of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice-cream topped with cherries. The ice-cream tasted heavenly. We are not fans of bananas, so avoided those.
Our servers were hospitable, but the service was kind of slow but that could be because of the busy time during the weekend.
The price seems to be reasonable, and with the crowd that should say it all.
We shall be heading back for the fries and mojos and give another shot to those pizzas.
