Molten Chocolate Café is an ideal spot for all your chocolate fantasies.

We were highly anticipating our visit to this café due to it beautiful location right in the heart of Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah.

Molten Chocolate Café has a warm and relaxed vibe. The place is spacious enough to accommodate large groups and intimate enough for date nights for two as well. They have an indoor, outdoor and a terrace seating area too. We chose to sit outside because we didn’t want to pass up on the cool air and the scenic environment around us. We honestly came for dessert but left the place with a full 3 course dinner albeit a little sweet but is there any such thing as too much chocolate? NO! (That’s what we thought too!)

Bite Board

We started our chilly evening with a warm cup of Hot Chocolate [AED 21] which had that lovely rich chocolate taste without bordering on being too sweet. It wasn’t too watery in texture either just how we like it.

Molten Planet [AED 29]: We got a shake too which is a blend of dark, milk and white Belgium chocolate. However, we felt that the ratio of whipped cream and the shake was a little off as we just got a lot of whipped cream and less of the shake.

We then moved onto our ‘meals’. For starters we got the Molten Lava Cake [AED: 29] (ice cream scoop]: A piece of heaven is what this is. Warm and gooey chocolate lava cake with a dollop of ice cream on top. One bite into this and we knew whatever ahead wont beat this but boy; we were so naïve.

And for our main we got Mini Brownies [AED 34]: We were served with these heavenly pieces of mouthwatering and absolutely delicious chunks of brownies which had the ultimate texture of being hard on the outside but gooey on the inside. You come to this place for the chocolate, but you stay for the brownies!

For the main event we choose to have the Fondue Chocolate [AED 49] (With chocolate chips). Gosh this was an incredible experience. We were given options of marshmallow, strawberry and brownies bites to be dunked into our rich Belgium chocolate fondue. The chips are to be added incase you run out of chocolate and you will because once you have a taste of this chocolate, there’s no going back.

The service was terrific. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had an experience that’s was nothing less than perfect.

Cash Outflow:
For the quality of chocolate being served and the location, the prices seem pretty apt.

Circling Back:
Ofcourse yes! There’s a lot more we need to try and those brownies! We’re coming back for you.
