A mix of both worlds with Khaleeji & Emirati sweets as well as new age desserts at one place.
This was our second visit to Sukkar but this time we were at their new outlet opened up in Mirdiff City Center. Since we enjoyed our dessert fest from the last time, we headed here with our expectations high and yet again Sukkar had not let us down.
Located inside Mirdiff City Center the outlet is a little small space wise but the crowd keeps moving so you’ll find a seat in no time. Its completely open towards the inside of the mall so it’s convenient for shoppers or diners to grab a quick dessert while spending time inside the mall.

Hot Chocolate: We began our feasting with a warm cup of hot chocolate. Creamy and delicious with every sip and with the weather being on the cooler side we found it comforting.
Sukkar Waffle – This could be a breakfast or a dessert option. We were served with one thicc homemade waffle topped with fresh mix of berries. By the looks of it this one is surely a stunner. The choice of berries was excellent and super fresh. The only downside was that we found it to be a little dry and difficult to chew. Maybe a little more syrup would have done the trick.

We 👭 love places that serve ‘All Day’ #Breakfast options and @sukkaruae has opened its second branch in @citycentremirdif serving a #special breakfast menu and of course their amazing desserts! Featuring the ‘Mozzarella Pesto Tartine’ [AED 34] our new favorite dish 😌❤️! #HappyWeekend
Mozzarella Pesto Tartine – The underdog item on the menu. Do not judge this by the looks because this one is packing in flavor! Slices of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and a delicious pesto spread are laid upon a bed made of freshly baked ciabatta bread. It looks a little underwhelming but taste wise it is YUM! Worth a try if you’re looking for something a little savory.
Brownie madness: Ah! Alas the epic brownie madness. This one consisted of brownie cubes, crushed Ferrero, some whipped cream with vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce and hazelnuts. It’s got all the right ingredients for a perfect dessert! This was a sweet treat for us.
Saffron Milk Cake: Our showstopper of the evening was this delicious moist cake soaked with saffron milk served with a layer of light whipped cream and loose saffron threads. A must try when you stop by at Sukkar.
The service was great. They were very attentive and even offered recommendations.
We found the pricing to be a slightly higher compared to other dessert parlors but the quality food and richness in taste that you get here makes up for those extra bucks spent.
We loved most of the items served to us and because of its location, you’ll see us back here for a dessert or two.
