Vegetarian delicacies at Kailash Parbat with drinks & shisha!

We went for lunch on a weekend. After all the rave reviews were were looking forward to a great experience.

The outlet is located in Al Seef with an outdoor seating and a kids play area that would be great to enjoy during the winters.

The indoors are beautifully done with green comfy couches, brown tables and mini gold chandeliers that stand out and give an elegant vibe to the restaurant. They also have a top floor where you can grab a drink and do shisha as well.

KP_Blush On Ice

Blush On Ice [AED 23]: The name sounded intriguing and with the heated weather this drink was such a relief! It was basically a strawberry slush presented in a martini glass garnished with strawberry slices, mint leaves and lime.

KP_Passion Cooler

Passion Cooler [AED 22]: Your regular mojito that was refreshing and complemented our meal.

Kashmiri Pakodas [AED 15]: This was recommended by our friend. It was her usual order at the Meena Bazar outlet and something different for us to try. A cheesy affair with some veggies such as bell pepper, onion and tomato chunks filled in a baguette.

Tandoori Momos [AED 28]: We had heard a lot about these and couldn’t wait to try it our for ourselves. The hype is totally true and we vouch for it as well. The smoky and spicy flavors were spot on, we just couldn’t stop ourselves from binging on it. Definitely recommended!

KP_Pan Fried Dumpling in Chili Oil

Pan Fried Dumpling in Chili Oil [AED 23]: We cannot resist dumplings so this was a must have for us. The filling was different from that of the tandoori momos so it wasn’t only a different cooking style. The dish hit all the right notes on the spice scale which in turn made us super happy since we are spice addicts. The only negative was the salt overdose other than that it was delicious.

Paneer Tikka Pizza [AED 30]: We felt the pizza sauce was too sweet and since we prefer our food to be spicy, this didn’t match our expectations. Don’t wait too long to grab a slice because the cheese gets chewy, something that needs to be worked on.

KP_Fusili Alfredo

Fusili Alfredo [AED 34]: All the Alfredo sauce fans will fall in love with this dish. The sauce was creamy and rich in texture. We would suggest to add some more seasoning such as oregano and chili flakes tat will take the dish to the next level.

KP_Ricotta Ravioli

Ricotta Ravioli: This was hands down the best. It had a little bit of spice, the spinach filling was generous and the sauce was creamy. The only problem was the ravioli was slightly overcooked which made them break easily other than that everything was just perfect. A must try!

KP_Jalebi with Rabri

Rabri with Hot Jalebi [AED 22]: Cannot go wrong with a classic combination. The jalebis were crisp and light which is rare to find, add to that the rabri and it was a match made in heaven. We totally loved each bite of it and definitely recommend it to everyone as well.

KP_Filter Coffee

A cup of filter coffee and those mesmerizing creek views is how we wrapped our lunch.

All the servers were friendly albeit the speed of service could better.

Cash Outflow:
The prices are justified for the location and the quality of food being offered.

Circling Back:
We will be back for those tandoori momos soon.
